One of the things that connects us humans is curiosity. We are born curious, and at no time in life is curiosity more powerful than in early childhood. It's possible that many adults, without knowing it, fear a child's inquisitive nature; somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we stop asking questions. Noticing the questions children ask, and the things that stir their interest, can lead to unpredictable strands of thought.
